An autoethnochoreographic piece about the work ethic and machine-like endurance of Vietnamese mothers—qualities shaped by war, displacement, and the relentless pursuit of becoming “enough” to belong. Through repetitive, mechanical movement, the improvisation investigates how rage and physical exhaustion intertwine, and how the quality of being “hardworking” can be survival strategy and cultural inheritance.
